INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup besan flour
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 2 tsp. oil or ghee
- 1 tsp. ajwain seeds
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- oil to deep fry
- METHOD
- Mix all the ingredients except oil
- Use some water and knead into soft dough.
- Roll into large thin rounds.
- Make small rectangular strips of the round
- Deep fry the strips on slow flame till golden yellow (don't let it become golden brown)
- Drain, keep aside. Cool, store in air-tight jar .
